Family Grief Support Group (Summer 2023)

The 6-week Family Grief Support Group is for families with youth ages 4 through 18 who have experienced the death of someone significant. Children and teens come together with their peers for discussion and activities to help express themselves and work through their grief. Caregivers participate in a separate group with other adults to receive education on how to support a grieving kiddo, as well as for grief support themselves.

Summer Group – WAITLIST

Day: Thursdays
Dates: June 8, 15, 22, 29, July 6, 13
Dinner Time: 6–6:30 p.m.
Group Time: 6:30–8:30 p.m.
Frequency: 6 weekly sessions
Location: Mourning Hope Grief Center

There is no cost to attend group, but families are asked to make a commitment to attend all 6 sessions. An optional, free dinner will be provided for participants from 6 to 6:30 p.m.
