Time: 6:30-8:00 PM (optional dinner at 6:00 PM)
Location: Mourning Hope Grief Center
Holding Hope is a Mourning Hope family grief support group created for families who have already completed at least two six- or 10-week Family Grief Support Group sessions. These individuals may be looking for additional community and connection without the multi-week time commitment. Holding Hope is for families with youth ages 4 through 18 who have experienced the death of someone significant. Children and teens come together with their peers for discussion and activities to help express themselves and work through their grief. Caregivers participate in a separate group with other adults to receive education on how to support a grieving kiddo, as well as for grief support themselves.
